Technologies
Sorted by the stage of the line they act on.
Not by chemistry family, and not by how new they are. Where a product sits on the line determines what it can change and what it is worth to you, so that is how we organize the portfolio.
A PUGL product acts here No PUGL product at this stage
Former preparation and cleaning
Fusion Agent changes the cleaning regime required at this stage — less acid and caustic, and longer between cleaning interventions.
Coagulant dip
Fusion Agent is dosed here, at 0.75–4% of the coagulant, alongside a reduced calcium stearate loading.
Polymer dip
PUD 9088 supplies the dip polymer for polyurethane glove production. Isolate acts immediately after, at film formation.
Curing oven
No PUGL product acts at this stage. Curing energy is an area of ongoing research, not an offering.
Leaching and washing
No PUGL product acts at this stage. Leaching water use is an area of ongoing research, not an offering.
Stripping
Release performance at stripping is affected by the coagulant stage upstream.
Inspection and packing
Defect rates measured here are the downstream signal for former surface condition.
The portfolio
Three products. Three stages of the line.
Fusion Agent, Isolate and PUD 9088 make up the PUGL portfolio. Each is organized by the stage of the production line it supports, with its commercial status clearly identified. Because they act at different points on the line, they work together rather than compete for the same budget.
Former preparation & coagulant
Fusion Agent
A waterborne, plant-derived polymer dosed into the coagulant at 0.75–4%, changing the release mechanism and with it the cleaning regime the formers require.
Affects: former life · cleaning downtime · water · chemical usage · defects
Film formation
Isolate
A PUGL process technology applied at the film formation stage of the dipping line — the stage immediately after the polymer dip, where the glove film is laid down and set.
Supply: available to glove manufacturers now
Polymer dip
PUD 9088
A polyurethane dispersion for manufacturers producing PU examination, surgical and clean-room gloves, where tactile properties and low ionic content matter.
Affects: product mix · achievable specification · raw material exposure
How to read the status labels
In market means commercially available and running in production. All three PUGL products carry that status today — Fusion Agent at former preparation, Isolate at film formation and PUD 9088 at the polymer dip.
We do not list research work alongside products, and we publish no performance figures for anything that is not in market. If it appears on this page, you can buy it.
What we are researching
The method that produced Fusion Agent points to additional stages of the line. That work is research, not product, and we label it that way.
Start with your line’s actual numbers.
A Factory Performance Assessment models your current cost per thousand gloves against a future state with PUGL technologies in place — your polymer system, your utility costs, your line configuration.
