Innovation

Each upgrade makes the next one possible.

PUGL sells three products. Behind them is a method, and that method points to additional stages of the line. The dependencies between those steps are technical rather than commercial, which is why the order is fixed.

The dependency chain

Why the order is forced.

You cannot start at the end of this chain. Ceramic formers are specified in part because they survive acid, so the material question only reopens once the acid regime has been reduced — and the same dependency applies one step earlier to mechanical cleaning.

The line, drawn

Where the portfolio acts, and where it does not.

Three products, three stages. The rest of the line is where the research sits — and we would rather show the gap honestly than imply we already fill it.

Former preparation and cleaning

Fusion Agent changes the cleaning regime required at this stage — less acid and caustic, and longer between cleaning interventions.

Coagulant dip

Fusion Agent is dosed here, at 0.75–4% of the coagulant, alongside a reduced calcium stearate loading.

Polymer dip

PUD 9088 supplies the dip polymer for polyurethane glove production. Isolate acts immediately after, at film formation.

Curing oven

No PUGL product acts at this stage. Curing energy is an area of ongoing research, not an offering.

Leaching and washing

No PUGL product acts at this stage. Leaching water use is an area of ongoing research, not an offering.

Stripping

Release performance at stripping is affected by the coagulant stage upstream.

Inspection and packing

Defect rates measured here are the downstream signal for former surface condition.

Research directions

Not products. Not available. No performance data.

Each of these follows from reducing the chemical load at the cleaning stage. None is sold, quoted or scheduled, and none carries a published figure on this site. We list them because the sequence explains why we started where we did.

Mechanical former cleaning

Ultrasonic cleaning only becomes practical once aggressive chemical cleaning is no longer doing the work. Laboratory stage.

Former materials

Ceramic is specified in part because it survives acid. Reduce the acid and the material choice reopens, along with internal heating. Early research.

Curing and leaching

Thermal energy per glove, and fresh water drawn by the leaching sequence. Early research, no route to market defined.

Working with us on what comes next

Research requires line access, engineering input and manufacturers willing to run a structured trial. If your plant is interested in that kind of relationship rather than a purchase, we would like to hear from you.

Environmental outcomes, reported honestly

Water, chemical and effluent reduction are real consequences of taking waste out of a process, and they matter commercially — increasingly they are conditions of doing business with customers who audit their supply chain. We report them, and we can provide the measured data in a form that fits your own environmental reporting.

What we will not do is present environmental performance as a revenue stream we cannot substantiate, or attach an unqualified environmental label to a product.

Reporting

Data in a form your own reporting can use

Water, chemical and effluent reduction measured during a trial can be provided in a format that fits your environmental reporting — as measured figures with their basis stated, not as a badge.

How we measure

Start with your line’s actual numbers.

A Factory Performance Assessment models your current cost per thousand gloves against a future state with PUGL technologies in place — your polymer system, your utility costs, your line configuration.
