Factory Economics
We would rather model your line than quote you a percentage.
A Factory Performance Assessment establishes what your line costs to run today, stage by stage, and models what changes with PUGL technologies in place. It is how every PUGL engagement starts — before a trial, and before any commercial discussion.
How it works
You provide baseline operating data for one representative line. A PUGL analyst builds the current-state cost stack, identifies which of our technologies apply to your polymer system — and which do not — and models the future state. The result is delivered in a working session rather than as an automated download, because the assumptions matter as much as the output and they need to be discussed.
- Step 01You share baseline line data
- Step 02We build the current-state cost stack per 1,000 gloves
- Step 03We model the applicable upgrades against that baseline
- Step 04We review it with you, assumptions in the open
- Step 05If it holds up, we scope a production trial
Typically two weeks from receiving complete data. Assessments are confidential and can be run under NDA — note it in the form and we will send ours or work from yours.
- Number of production lines and output per line
- Polymer system and former substrate
- Current cleaning process and frequency
- Water consumption and discharge arrangements
- Cleaning chemical usage and cost
- Energy and steam consumption
- Former replacement cycle and cost
- Defect and scrap rate
- Current OEE and cleaning downtime
- Cost per 1,000 gloves — current and modeled future state
- Indicative annual saving at your production volume
- Water, energy and chemical consumption change
- Yield and scrap impact
- Former service-life impact
- Available line hours and OEE impact
- Payback and return, with assumptions shown
- Trial scope, line time required and reversion procedure
How we report
Three confidence tiers, kept separate.
A single blended savings figure invites a sophisticated buyer to discount all of it. So we separate the number into three tiers and tell you which part is which.
Verified in trial
Observed directly during production running: cleaning chemical spend, effluent load, cleaning downtime, cleaning-section water.
Modeled from trial data
Calculated from measured inputs rather than observed as an outcome: yield effect, OEE effect, energy.
Long-horizon estimate
Directionally supported but not yet observed over a full cycle — principally former service life. Reported separately and excluded from the verified savings total.
Former replacement is one of the largest components of the cost a conventional cleaning regime creates, and it is also the slowest to verify. Keeping it out of the headline number means the near-term saving stands on its own — and the long-horizon effect is upside rather than a load-bearing assumption.
